Panna Cotta With Figs
Ingredients that you will need:
- 2 1/2 teaspoons unflavored gelatin
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons bourbon
- 15 ripe figs
For this delicious panna cotta first put 3 tablespoons water in a bowl and sprinkle gelatine over it and let it set for 10 minutes.Now combine heavy cream with 1/2 cup sugar and bring to simmer.Add gelatin mixture and stir until the sugar and the gelatine are dissolved.Now transfer the mixture and place into the ice bath,and then pour the mixture into glasses and chill for about 2 hours.Now make the caramel sauce: Spread remaining sugar and place over medium heat,and let ice melt for about 2/3 minutes.Stir 1/2 cup warm water and bourbon,and stir until combined and let it cool.After the panna cotta is set,remove it from the glass and garnish with caramel sauce and figs.Enjoy!
