Spicy Indian rice
Ingredients that you will need:
- a mugful of American long grain rice
- 2 onions
- 2 tbsp sunflower oil
- ½ tsp turmeric
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 6 cardamom pods
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- large handful of sultanas and roasted cashew nuts
First of all we fry the onions for 10/15 minutes.Next we put water and salt to boil,add turmeric and cinnamon.Then we add the rice and boil for about 10 minutes.Then drain the rice,and pour hot water over.Now stir the seeds into the onion and fry for 1 minute.The last step isto toss in sultans and roasted cashew nuts,thn the rice.Enjoy!
