Pineapple upside-down cake


Ingredients that you will need:
For the topping

  • 50g softened butter
  • 50g light soft brown sugar
  • 7 pineapples rings in syrup
  • glacé cherry

For the cake

  • 100g softened butter
  • 100g golden caster sugar
  • 100g self-raising flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs

So for this cake the first step is to preheat the oven.Now we mix the butter and sugar until they are creamy.Now we arrange the pineapple on a round cake tin,then put the cherries in the center.Now we mix the cake ingredients into a bowl and add pineapple syrup.Now we put the mix on top of the pineapples and bake for about 40 minutes.After that we leave to cool for 5 minutes,and turn it into a flat plate.Enjoy!
