Baked Chocolate & Hazelnut Crunch Donuts


Ingredients that you will need:


  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup pastry flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 Tbsp light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 Tbsp dried buttermilk powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp water

For this delicious donuts first we preheat the oven,then we mix the flour,sugar,baking soda,baking powder,nutmeg,salt,butter milk powder.After that we mix in a another boil the eggs,the oil and water.After it is all mixed we pour in the flour mixture and mix until smooth.Then we grease the donut pans and pour the mixture and bake for about 10/15 minutes.

Hazelnut Crunch

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup hazelnuts, blanched
  • 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt

So for this hazelnut crunch first we chop the hazelnuts,then we beat the egg white until it is foamy,after that we pour in the hazelnuts,add sugar and salt and stir.Now we make this mixture for 10 minutes.

Chocolate Glaze

  • 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 Tbsp light corn syrup

Now we have to make the chocolate glaze for the donuts.Let’s start by melt the chocolate,butter and corn syrup on bain-marie.Stir until everything is smooth.Now we take the donuts,add the chocolate glaze,and after we sprinkle with the hazelnut crunch.Enjoy!
